The yoga that we offer at PYX is a physical and spiritual practice that builds strength, flexibility and balance. Our yoga is accessible to people from all backgrounds, fitness levels and ages, and our teachers have studied endlessly to master the art of teaching great group classes to meet the needs of a variety of students. Our Classes

Align & Flow

This class is influenced by the Hatha Yoga System and is designed to suit many levels of students. Classes are grounded in both philosophical and asana themes, building to a peak posture. The goal is quality over quantity and focus on precision. The room is heated to a comfortable temperature between 72-78 degrees.

Integrated Flow

Building on both the themes of Aligning and Vinyasa, our Integrated Flow classes are taught by teachers studying both the Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga systems. Each teacher takes their own approach to "integration," tying free flowing practice to precision and attunement. Expect to practice asana, vinyasa, pranyama, inversions and learn about myofascial meridians.

Gentle Vinyasa

This class will help you tap into a deep sense of body awareness and presence as you focus on your breathing and moving mindfully through gentle stretches and rejuvenating restorative poses to create space, get your blood moving and bring it all inward. In this class you will experience the transformative effect and deep relaxation that gentle vinyasa yoga has to offer to your muscles and brain function.

Vinyasa 

This is a flowing class designed to suit many levels of students. This class is informed by the hatha yoga system and will include sun salutations, standing and seated postures, backbends and closing postures with attention on alignment & integration. The room is heated to a comfortable temperature between 72-78 degrees.

Arrive

How to prepare for class
The studio opens approximately 20-minutes prior to the start of each class time. There is a buzzer that you can ring should you arrive late to class, as the front door locks at the start of class time. We encourage you to arrive at least 10-minutes prior to the start of any class. Designer yoga mats are available for use at no cost.

Get Settled

What you'll need
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you can move in. The studio is warmed to a comfortable 72 degree temperature during classes, you may wish to bring a hand towel and water bottle. We recommend avoiding strong-smelling perfumes during your practice and turning your cell phone off on arrival.
